Pewsey Vale Running Club

Club Runs

Inclusive running for everyone...

On all our runs we aim to be inclusive, welcoming and friendly.  Our aim as a club is to provide a safe and sociable environment where runners can share their passion for running.

Club Runs

The club runs meet every Tuesday at 19:00 at the Vale Community Campus in Pewsey. Depending on attendees, two groups will normally form allowing for a range of distances and speeds. We all run for around 1 hour, regrouping when necessary, so that nobody gets separated. In the darker months we stay closer to Pewsey, mainly on-road with reflective clothing and head torches. In the lighter months we venture further out into the Vale of Pewsey off-road, usually taking in at least one hill to admire the views - again nobody is left behind.

Time Trial

The first Thursday of every month we run a 5k time trial handicap, with slower runners starting first and the fastest off last. The aim is for everyone to finish together. In winter the start is at the Vale Community Campus in Pewsey, but in the summer months we start at the Golden Swan at Wilcot, with some people staying for drinks and food afterwards.

New Members

If you want to see what PVRC is like and if it is for you, just come along to any of our Club nights and give it a go.
